One Way Street 1950. James Mason, Dan Duryea, Marta Toren Shortly after a bank robbery, gangster John Wheeler (Dan Duryea) and his henchmen hide out waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive. Also present are Wheeler's girlfriend, Laura and the gang's surgeon, Dr. Frank Matson (James Mason). The doctor turns the tables and poisons Wheeler. He will die in 48 hours unless he receives the antidote from Dr. Matson. Matson takes the loot and Laura and they escape the gang. However,their getaway is fraught with unforeseen dangers, including a vengeful Wheeler who is determined to recover his loot and his girl.
