Amid discourse over agrarian crisis in several states, some farmers in Karnataka's Dharwad district were given Rs 1 as compensation for their crop loss. According to reports, the revenue department credited Rs 1 as compensation in the accounts of the farmers under the category of compensation for no yield. The state government has said will launch an investigation in to the lapse of district administration's work.
