INFO:
This is a story of loss, courage et dedication - when a tragedy becomes a life’s journey. On the 19th of July 2016, Adama Traoré, who was celebrating his 24th birthday, died asphyxiated in a police station in Persan. Ever since that day, his sister Assa Traoré has been fighting for justice in his name, denouncing a failing judiciary system and police violence. She is the spokesperson for the Traoré family, but is also a writer (“Lettre à Adama”) and appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine in February 2019.
