Easy Artisan-Style Whole Wheat Bread ✨ Ingredients: 2 c warm water 2 ts yeast (I used @redstaryeast as always) 1 Tb Honey or pure maple syrup 450 grams (3 cups) of whole wheat flour (I used organic from @safeway) 1 1u002F4 ts salt Directions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar until its nice and frothy. 2. Add in the flour and salt and mix with the handle of a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms. 3. Cover with plastic and set in a warm place for 2-3 hours, or until it doubles in size. It will have lots of bubbles! 4. During the last 30 min of your dough rising, turn on your oven at 400 degrees. Place a Dutch oven with the lid on in the oven and heat the Dutch oven for 30 min. 5. Shape the dough into a ball and place on parchment paper. 6. Remove hot Dutch oven from oven and place your dough into hot Dutch oven using the parchment paper as handles. Bake with the lid on for 30 min. 7. Remove the lid and bake uncovered for 20 min. 8. Carefully remove the bread from the Dutch oven using the parchment paper as handles. Let it cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
